a message from Pastor al
Pastors Al & Jinny Force
Dear Oceanway Family,
2024 was the year we said YES! Our vision is to create a culture of life-giving transformation. When we say YES to God’s plan, we commit to stewarding our lives with His purpose in mind.
God’s plan has been to increase and multiply from the very beginning! Jesus is building His church right here, and you are a vital part of it!
This year, we witnessed incredible mobilization within our church family—from The Big Give to The Weekend experience, our serve teams make Oceanway the amazing place it is. What a privilege it is to see God move so powerfully!
In 2024, we experienced unprecedented growth. Oceanway, together, we are just getting started! God is doing something special right here and I am thankful you are a part.
This is the Year of the Word. When we Follow His Word, we will Live, Multiply, and Possess the Promises of God!
Oceanway Church, I love you!

Oceanway Creative had an incredible 2024. We had major growth in both worship and production, adding 25 new people to our teams. Our Worship department started a monthly choir that has enhanced our worship experiences greatly and production has continued to be innovative in the way that they create captivating experiences both for our in person and online audiences. We are looking forward to this year as we have big things coming for Oceanway Creative.

“Oceanway Church Outreach is a local expression of God’s global mission.” When we decide to intentionally reach out to those in our own neighborhood, we are living out the message of Matthew 22: ”love your neighbor as yourself.” At Oceanway Church, we want to see God’s grace, love, and truth be experienced by everyone, starting in our own community. That’s why we are committed to love local.

“Every believer has a role to play in God’s global mission.”
When we decide to intentionally cross-cultural barriers to reach the last, the least, and the lost, we are obeying Christ’s command to GO (Matthew 28:19). At Oceanway Church, we want to see God’s grace, love, and truth be experienced by everyone—every tribe, every tongue, and every nation. That’s why we are committed to go global.
• Supported 93 Missionaries/Partnerships working in around 75 countries and
organizations (some are “creative access” nations).
• Missions Month: This year’s “Taste of the Nations” showcased 19 nations
represented in our church family, with around 300 people attending on a Sunday evening in October. Denny Nissley, from Christ in Action, kicked off Missions Month on October 6th with an incredible call for the whole church to engage in God’s ONE mission around the world.

Team number: 8 members—including business owners, a mechanic, contractors,
and more.
TOTAL Projects: 17 completed—including re-roofing and re-siding the
commissary, siding 80% of an entire two-story cabin, tree removal, and much more.
When the members of a ministry team assist and serve one another selflessly,
even as they tackle the assignment, it’s such a beautiful thing! This team
accomplished real ministry, completing ☑ 17 projects as Camp Nahshii geared
up for summer. Indigenous Athabaskan kids live in severe conditions, and deal
with depression, abuse, and even addiction—living in an environment which
puts them at-risk for suicide. This camp provides a safe place where students
can hear the life-changing message of the gospel, and can experience the
immense love of God for them personally.

Rescue, which works to restore survivors of sexual slavery through prevention,
intervention and restoration. The Oasis Center serves as a coffee shop duringthe day and a ministry center in the evening where women gather for meals,
Bible studies and community.”
TOTAL Projects: Ladies worked with Shawn Alderman, an Oceanway Church-supported missionary to update the interior of the Oasis Center as well as participated in the direct ministry to those visiting the center itself.

The Learning Center engages with families throughout the year by participating in weekly chapels with Pastors Jon and Dawn Coad (who are considered famous to most of our children). We also held an Easter Egg Hunt, Grandparents Day, Trunk-or-Treat, Thanksgiving Feast, and a Christmas Book exchange- all this we invite our parents and families to be a part of. Our biggest achievement for the year was receiving (for the second year in a row) “The School of Excellence Award” from the Florida League of Christian Schools.
